Action for Pensioners was launched in October 2000. It is volunteer led; managed by members in an elected committee of 12, and has 1500 members and 34 affiliated organisations.
The group provides action on: Access to the Royal United Hospital, Leisure, Culture and Security, Health and Social Care, Money Matters, Rural Developments and Housing.
Membership is free and is open to any resident of Bath and North East Somerset aged 55 and over.
