Built in 1775 by Thomas Baldwin, the magnificent Guildhall is ornately furnished and fitted.

The Guildhall’s most splendid room seats 360 for a concert. The 18th century chandeliers sparkle from every facet and original royal portraits adorn the walls. The room has often been frequented by royalty; most recently, The Queen had lunch here during her May 2002 Jubilee visit to Bath.

The Guildhall is home to many concerts, being particularly suitable for classical music or acoustic ensembles with little amplification.
